The Altar Server Ministry is a wonderful opportunity for children and teens to grow in their faith while serving God and their parish community. Altar servers assist the clergy during Mass, helping with the candles, cross, altar, and other important parts of the liturgy.

Serving at the altar is more than simply helping during Mass, it is a special way to participate more fully in the celebration of the Eucharist. Through serving, children and teens can develop a deeper understanding of the Mass, grow in confidence and responsibility, and discover the joy of giving their time and talents to God.

Could God be calling you to serve? If you are a child or teen who loves your parish, wants to learn more about the Catholic faith, or simply wants to try something new, we invite you to consider becoming an altar server. You don't have to be perfect or know everything; training and guidance will be provided.
